About me:
* I was born in 1977, and I was born in Nagasaki.
* I am a 'specially appointed' assistant professor of Turkic linguistics
in the Research Institute of World Languages at Osaka University, where
I studied from 1996 to 2002.
* I am also a Research Fellow at Kyoto Prefectual University (2007-), where
I study Word Grammar theory under Professor Kensei Sugayama.
* I have a BA in Turkish Language and MA in Turkish Linguistics, both from
Osaka University of Foreign Studies.
* I stayed nearly one year in Ankara (Turkey) to do my postgraduate work
at Ankara University, under Associate Professor N. Engin Uzun.
* I did a Ph. D course in General Linguistics in Kobe City University of
Foreign Studies from 2002 to 2006, supervised by Professor Kensei Sugayayama.
* I am majoring in Turkic (especially Turkish) linguistics and General
linguistics. My research has mainly been in the framework of Word Grammar.
